1974 edition, different cover. This saga of the west is a classic. The USA never had it so good. Starts with the forming of the earth and continues to 1976.

Read this a year or two ago, but apparently neglected to journal it then. Long, but I believe that is the norm for Michener. Very interesting stories and characters. I found the historical background quite intriguing. Wish I had remembered to journal it then so that I could write a better appraisal.
