It is because of Bookcrossing that I actually pick interesting books of poetry now and again. This lovely book of soul poking words has been sitting on my shelf for a long time and never got registered until today. I was going to send a different book to the winner of the Canadian Literature sweeps, but I am actually glad that she read the other book already. It opened the door for "Native Son" and I think that it will be given a really great home.

I seldom read poems, but enjoy some of them deeply from time to time. This one deals with a subject matter (black people) I'm interested in and I would love to give it a try :)
