I really enjoyed reading this~~not so much for the story, (imho very ho-hum), but for the history, the details of life in post-Rome Britain. THAT was engrossing!

I am so sorry I took so long to get this on the way! I honestly thought I had already mailed it, until I was doing some long-overdue tidying and discovered it had just disappeared under other things… In the bag addressed, but that was as far as I got. Anyway now I’m going to put it in my car along with a couple of others I have just readied. Not sure when I’ll get them posted but I’ll try it soon. If I get to the post office and the parking lot has a lot of cars, I don’t even bother going in these days, cause I don’t wanna stand in a line indoors. 😉 Hopefully I’ll hit it right sometime this week!
