This was an easy and enjoyable read. Although Carol Buckley grew up in a very wealthy family, she fits the role of "poor little rich girl". She was the tenth child and born after many of her siblings were grown. She was usually not included in grown-up family activities and the parents were often not living with her. I found it interesting to read about her life, yet I was saddened by the difficulties that she had and the fact that she decided to no longer believe in God.
