Big Fish

The story looked really interesting and since I am not a fan of Tim Burton films, I thought I'd try my luck with the book instead. It was a sweet, sad, and poignant tribute to one man's dying father that managed to be touching wthout being maudlin. But although I can't really fault the writer's style, it was, at times, difficult to pick up after I'd put it down for a while. Still, a good read.
Sending to fellow Bookcrosser coasterkim!
Thanks, Chellis! My book club is reading this in a month or two.
I read this book without having seen the movie. I did enjoy it, but be prepared. It's unlike any novel I've ever read. The short chapters/fish stories make it a quick read.
Sending soon to beachglass in a trade. Enjoy!
Just received in trade from coasterkim, thanks! Looking forward to comparing the book to the movie, which I love!
