Just after midnight, a snowdrift stopped the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train was surprisingly full for the time of the year. But by the morning there was one passenger fewer. A passenger lay dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside.

Wouldn't this be Agatha Christie's most famous detective novel? I think it is. Thank you Kafka, for both the books and the pretty bookmarks!
I love the book with all its unexpectedness and with Poirot, who is always so sure of himself;-)I'm sure it will make a great film and so it has apparently, but I haven't seen it yet. Great book!
