I received this book in the mail as a gift from elizardbreath of Bella Vista, Arkansas who sent it to me as a birthday surprise.

Thank you so much for sending me this book, elizardbreath. I've always wanted to read this book, ever since my oldest daughter read the other books written by Lisa Yee.

This was actually an entertaining book to read. I must confess that one of the reasons that I wanted to read this book was because the original town that Emily lived in was the town that I lived in from age ten on, a little town in New Jersey. I do not believe that the author was that familiar with the New Jersey town. It was a good story. Emily's parents have just gotten divorced. However, I do not recommend moving your child across country as a good step to help a child cope with divorce. In fact, most divorce and child custody agreements don't allow that anymore (unless the other parent doesn't care).

Thank you tabby-cat-owner for this book and several others for the LFL's that I steward.

After surgery and lots of rain, we were finally able to get out to check on this LFL. It needed a little bit of everything so this book was left for a new reader to find.
