It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn't much easier now that he is an over-worked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

I really enjoyed reading this. I wasn't sure that I would after reading some of the reviews, but it was a quick, nostalgic read. It was never going to be as good as the 'real thing' but it was entertaining anyway and I just loved how Scorpius Malfoy turned out.

Received in the post today from Raeliz64 along with another book (On the Beach by Nevil Shute). Thanks very much. I'm a big Harry Potter fan and look forward to reading both books asap.

REVIEW:- "Sad to report that, although I'm a big Harry Potter fan having read all the other books and seen all the movies-some more than once I just couldn't get into this one. I think it's due to the play format which doesn't give any clues as to the characters or descriptions of all the interesting new characters. I can believe that it was "based on a story by J. K. Rowling" but not from her actual hand. I just don't think that the play format does it justice at all unfortunately."

I'm reserving the book for my friend Carol D and eventually for another bookcrosser.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

This book will be given to my friend Carol D. on the understanding that she passes it back to me so I can send it to another bookcrosser to whom I've promised it.

To the finder:-
Welcome to bookcrossing -you have found a travelling book. Please make a journal entry now to say where you found the book in case it has been moved. Then, when you have read it, please come back and make a further entry saying whether or not you enjoyed the book and why. It is now yours to do as you like with it, pass it to a friend or just leave it somewhere different for someone else to find and help it with its' journey. Of course if you can't bear to part with it at the moment then keep it, but please let me know that you have found it. If you join bookcrossing, which is free and spam-free, you can follow the book on its' travels as you will get an email each time it changes hands, but if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too. Please also say what you intend to do with the book next. Thanks for coming onto the site to let me know you have found the book.

I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.

When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

Received back from Carol D. this morning. She reported that, like me, she had found it hard going, It was given to me via a third party so I don't know if Carol actually read all the book. I will report back if I get any more information. ETA I spoke to Carol about the book and she said that she didn't read it all either as she felt the same as I did about the book.

Now being reserved for another bookcrosser who has it on her wishlist.

This arrived safe and sound with me today. Thank you so much for granting my wish. It arrived with one other book, a fab postcard and some stickers.
