since I liked "Der Muschelstrand" by Hermanson a lot, I thought, "Die Schmetterlingsfrau" might be as beautiful, too. The book is okay but no real highlight. It's the story of a woman who comes home from borneo with some buttergfly's eggs underneath the skin of her leg. she lives in a greenhouse, waiting for the very rare butterflies to come out, and thinks.
