I received this book from the First Sentences VBB, having chosen it by the line," "Would you have married me if I were a dwarf?" I asked Buddy to test his love." Thanks for sending it!
What a depressing book! I almost didn't want to read it after a few pages, but I thought surely things would turn around, but no, the whole book details the misery of a forced, loveless marriage. Several reviewers found it funny, but I failed to see the humour in it.
