6of8 sent me a book recommendation on GoodReads for this book and although I could have gotten a copy from my library I knew that it would be infinitely more fun to read it with my friends so I asked 6 to start a bookray with me!
I'll be sending it back soon in a package for BCinDC.
Thanks to my friends for brightening my day with this book and others ....

So this book lived in a box addressed to 6of8 for a really long time.
I mailed the books and then took a bus to DC where we were reunited in 6's car.
Since this book was always supposed to go to BCinDC folk I will be passing it to KateKintail today for travel.

Found this in a bag downstairs a few minutes ago! I must have picked it up at a meetup, put it in quarantine, and then forgot about it. It's on Mt. TBR now.

I read this book a little bit ago, forgetting again for a while that I had a copy!
I LOVED it as much as I thought I would. There were a few comics that made me a little sad about humanity. But most of these made me smile or even laugh. YAY for booklove and the dedicated people who help feed our addiction for words and stories.

Taking this to a BCinDC meetup in hopes that it will find a new, loving reader!
Making a journal entry here lets me know the book has been found and is safe in your hands. The book is yours now! Read it, give it to a friend, pass it on, or keep it forever--it's your choice.
If you pass it on to someone or leave it "in the wild" for someone else to find, please make another journal entry or release notes here to explain that it's travelling to find another home.
You can remain anonymous on the website or join BookCrossing. Joining is free, safe, and spam free and you'll get an e-mail every time a new person finds this book. You'll be able to watch it move around and find out what other readers thought of it.
I hope you enjoy the book. Happy reading!

Kate brought this book back to me at the meet-up. I have a vague notion that I might have asked for it back to take it to Australia and New Zealand. If not, I may pass it along to other local BookCrossers to enjoy.

This book has been in and out of the suitcase several times. I have made a final decision that it is not going to Australia and New Zealand. Since it was at one point intended to be a book ray with the local BCers, we (me and the other books in the bag) will take it to the meet-up on Saturday and try to pass it around.

Taking the opportunity to share this book at the September meet-up in Rockville. Hoping that this will be passed around the locals.

I selected this hardcover (c. 2011, 2012) at today's BCinDC meetup at MOD Pizza in Rockville, Maryland, USA. Thanks for sharing this book with me, 6of8.
I see this book was destined to be a bookray so I will continue to circulate it among BCinDC members after I read it.

Well, I just started reading this book, and both the narrative and the pictures are laugh-out-loud funny so I think I'll make quick work of this book! :D

This book came to be written because a bookseller once blogged many of the surprising things her customers used to say while in her store. Readers of the blog convinced her to put her experiences in a book along with the experiences of other booksellers. All of the entries in this book, if not from the author’s store, are identified.
This book is great. Parts of it are laugh-out-loud funny. Others are just jaw-dropping in revealing how ignorant some people can be. The drawings by Greg McLeod are hilarious! This quick-to-read book makes for wonderful entertainment!

Picked up at the BC in DC meetup in Alexandria, VA. My husband started leafing through the comics and announced it was coming home with us. We'll both take a look and bring it to a future meetup.
