This book has puckered up its courage before following off into the Tag Game! :)
Looks like an interesting book. Though I never would have been able to afford a nanny in a million years. :P

A wishlist book that arrived along with another and a chocolate bar! Thank you!

Very interesting book. I was a professional nanny for handicapped children and multiples for the past 15 years before going on disability.
I found the book to be totally off from all I, and most of the nannies I know, have experienced.
While we are "the help", only one family made me feel that way. But the mom (a professor at Baylor) was named one of the smartest in the US by some science magazine (can't remember which) and she was a total wackadoo who wouldn't allow her twins to be held.. ever. She fired me for being dirty. (found a hair in the bathroom that wasn't even my color) She was found, hiding in the closet, watching nanny number 5 or 6.
Otherwise, I was well paid, loved the kids, loved the famalies (immediate and extended) and still talk with all of them.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Ok book. Like I always said when I was a nanny... "You're "the help." Thankfully I worked for three great families that almost never (2 out of 3) treated me that way. And one crazy ass, supposed "Smartest Woman In the USA" as per Scientific America. Her children will most likely harm her someday soon, if they haven't already.
