I have too many books piling up! I decided to pull out a few to pass on unread and this was one of them. I've read this play before and it isn't one of my favorites, so I'll skip holding onto this copy. Hopefully it will find a new reader with more time for it.

I realised that despite all the different adaptation I've seen/read of this play, I never read the original, from Shakespear. That's corrected now.

And I can definitely say that whatever the version, I am not really fond of Romeo.

The commentaries in this book were very interesting though.

I am leaving this book into the hands of a couple of young French people, who just arrived here to help develop "Xiaoling", a great wine of the Himalaya. I hope they will enjoy this classic, and maybe even help the local population learn about it!
