About the book
There is no problem that a library card can't solve.
The Andreas family is one of readers. Their father, a renowned Shakespeare professor who speaks almost entirely in verse, has named his three daughters after famous Shakespearean women. When the sisters return to their childhood home, ostensibly to care for their ailing mother, but really to lick their wounds and bury their secrets, they are horrified to find the others there. See, we love each other. We just don't happen to like each other very much. But the sisters soon discover that everything they've been running from-one another, their small hometown, and themselves-might offer more than they ever expected.

This is a good book. It's not new or particularly inventive but it has a solid story about three sisters that return home at a time where they need to heal and their parents need their help. It's a good family story, it makes you long to have sisters and a house full of books.

The book has arrived safely in Edinburgh. Thank you so much Nakipa, it looks really good. Might attempt to save it for my Christmas holiday reading, but not sure if I will be able to hold out that long!

Okay, so I couldn't resist. I really enjoyed this book and the way the sisters related to each other, their parents and their friends and partners. There was so much going on, this was a really rich read, but not in a way that made you confused about whose story you were hearing. Thank you so much for this one Nakipa. I'm planning to take it along to the Edinburgh old Gang December meet up.
And off it goes to the winner of the wonderful family sweeps. Happy reading!
Arrived today. Thank you!
Sending as a RABCK in honour of my bookversary. Enjoy!
