Found this in a Little Free Library in Richmond, VA. I think I probably read it as a child, but I don't recall for sure, so I'm trying it again.

Two children run away and live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a week. The details are pretty dated but the adventure is still fun. This is the sort of tale I would have loved as a kid, though it turned out to be a bit more mundane than my fantasy-loving heart would have preferred. Still, a fun one to read, even if I doubt it would hold as much appeal to today's children.
