Nice humour throughout the book. I laughed several times. And I really like Mark Wallington's relaxed travel style. It doesn't matter that he did these trips in the 80's; walking and sculling hasn't changed very much.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sending this book to a bookcrossing friend who has it on her wishlist.
The first book "500 Mile Walkies" did give me some chuckles, was easy to read and something I would recommend. However, the second book "Boogie Up the River" was a disappointment. Therefore it is not rated as high as could be expected.
Posted to Icila.

Nice book and easy to read.
On its way to Mankyi who chose the first sentence. I hope that you w'll enjoy it.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.
