It's been a long time since I read this but it was one of my favourite books when I was a child, I think even did a book report for school on this book. It was good to read it as an adult and compare it with the original film; to see the similarities and differences.
Book 76 of 87, 87 books for 87 years.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This was picked by dacejav out of my RABCK Boom 2022 list.
Thank you for this nice RABCK! I have many Roald Dahl's children books at home but this one was missing. I will read it with my kids!
I really enjoyed this children's classic. I have watched the movie with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka many times and was seeing the movie while reading the book - it was closer to the book than I expected. I love the writing of Roald Dahl and I love his darker side. Willy Wonka is quite a villain, actually.
