My sister decided to have a clear out of her books. Love it when she does this as I always benefit! A lot of these were books she read for her uni course.

Well this was very dull. Considering it's set in the Roaring Twenties and focusing on characters who don't confirm to the social norms or the time, you would have thought there would be plenty to keep you entertained.

All we do get is lots of whining from characters who are in love with Robin, especially Nora who goes on and on about her. As a reader it's hard to empathise with them about this as we never get to know Robin. I fail to see what made her so great, apart from the fact she was pretty. She seemed pretty vacant to me.

The poor doctors seems to have to listen to Nora continually, when he has his own issues. Nora is not the slightest bit interested in anything the doctor has to say and she just changes the subject back to Robin again. The doctor also tends to go off on a tangent at times, which was also uninteresting.

I couldn't figure out at the start why Robin married Felix in the first place if she was such a wanderer. The ending also made no sense to me.

Avoid! Unless you are having trouble sleeping, then picking this up might do the trick!
