Lucy Diamond writes the sort of lightweight, extremely lightweight, novels with guaranteed happy endings that you wouldn't necessarily admit to reading .... but which are great fun anyway when you're in the right mood! I've enjoyed several on my Kindle, where what I'm reading can remain totally anonymous, but this is the first in paperback I've acquired, the first people will be able to see me reading and the first I've registered on BookCrossing where anyone and everyone can see its history .... LOL!!

I picked it up at our local Sainsbury's supermarket this morning while dropping off a couple of books to add to their collection in aid of HELP, Harrogate Easier Living Project which provides support for older or vulnerable people and those with a disability to remain independent in their own homes.

This entertaining story of three friends, Katie, Georgia and Alice, sees them through hen nights, divorces, motherhood, new relationships .... Fun and frivolous - and not as totally brainless as the title and cover art might suggest :-)

Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!

This was one of many books kindly given to me by Nu-Knees. Sadly, I've run out of time to read it as I'm off again exploring the world. It looks a brilliant read though, so I'm looking forward to reading about its journey as we both travel in different directions!
