Registering for rabck

Sending this book as part of my Wishlist Giveaway rabck. Hope you enjoy it!

Today I received a box of not one but 7 wishlist books! I think that's a record for how many books have been ticked off my wishlist at one time! Thank you so much chuckles! :)

This was recommended by Sci-fi now magazine which is how it ended up on my wishlist!

I started off really enjoying this. Kinda mirrored what's going on today, minus the violence. You don't know who has the virus, best to stay inside etc. Actually the new Government 'Stay Alert' slogan makes much more sense when applied to Haters!

While I didn't have any issues with the main character catching the virus and still narrating, it seemed a bit odd that there were times he could control his rage, especially when the risk of him getting shot was high but other times people seemed unable to control it.

The book did start slipping after Danny becomes a hater, he seemed pretty relatable before. The way he described work & his family life must echo thousands of people but then I lost touch with him after he become infected.

I do want to read the next one but I'm not sure it's going to turn into the the story I was hoping for.
