A book that has been in the house for a long time.
From a review at The Book Brothel:

Synopsis: We first met the characters of Knit the Season in The Friday Night Knitting Club, where a group of women come together to discuss knitting tips, and – more importantly – share their joys (and defeats) in life. Amidst the upcoming holiday season (which includes a wedding), Dakota starts trying to finish knitting a sweater that her mother started before Dakota was even born. As she works the stitches, everyone around her is compelled to tell stories that Dakota has never heard about her family before, giving her a new perspective on the life and career she is trying to design ..."

At looooong last, I've finally started reading this TBR as part of daffodil-2's [And Here it is!-November’s What to Read]"Down on the Farm" theme ( https://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/6/584744/10022245 [KNIT] the [SEASON] by K[ATE] Ja[COB]s) , as farms, farm families, and even animal groups are tightly KNIT, and...unfortunately, given the right circumstances, livestock, cats, dogs, and even farm fowl can become infected with NITs. SEASON is something done to wood that is collected on the Farm during the year to use as firewood in the winter. COB is not only what's left after the family ATE the corn they harvested, but it's also a male swan on the pond (there are also Swan Farms), a short-legged horse, and I believe even a kind of fish (although it may be spelled Kob), or perhaps it's a Cob Shark. THANK YOU, Dove-i-Libri 🤗, for sharing your books with so many of us (I do HOPE you and yours are doing well after Ian the Beast and subsequent weather has travelled though your area🙏), and...THANK YOU, again, for sending this one to me BookLovinMama🤗 (I do HOPE you and the boys are doing well🙏).❤❌⭕
