Thank you for the book! I don't mind that it's old. My dad was always reading James Herriot when I was younger and his books were scattered al over the house, never actually picked on up myself but now might be the time to try! I love the turtle keyring, the hat - which I've placed upon my boyfriend's model of Godzilla and the card :)
Growing up, James Herriot books were scattered all over the house as my dad is a fan. I never really took much notice of them, I think the copies he has, had very small text which put me right off as a kid!
I loved this book though. Filled with all sorts of insights from his time as a country vet. Lots of humor here and some sad moments. The story of Brandy almost had me in tears but thankfully was saved by a happy ending.
If you love animals, you'll love this.
