Was given two big bags of books by a charity shop in return for some volunteer work.

Was taken to the meet up at the Halswell Library and I believe that this book was picked up.

Picked up at last weekend's meetup. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this, because the movie version is pretty misogynistic (and borders on transphobic), but thankfully the book isn't *quite* so problematic (although it does have its issues...). The father is a pretty horrific character though - I kept finding myself cheering for the (supposedly awful) mother all the way through - no wonder she divorced him.

Reading childrens' books through an adult's eyes is always fun :-)

I am fairly sure that I picked this book up at a meet up sometime last year and it will go into my book tree pile.

Was left on the shelf by the window.
