Received from the UK via bookmooch. This is an older edition - 1977 - so the pages are a bit yellowed but, all things considered, in good shape.

I think I've read one other book by this author, and my impression is that I preferred that one. This was a fun read, of course, but the heroine's temper ended up provoking mine. Granted, to pull off her capers successfully she needed a strong dose of confidence and possibly arrogance, but although her swagger is a source of joy to the hero, her flaunting and letting her temper rule her began grating on me. At least she was competent and brave - not the case of the heroine in the book I'm now reading.
