picked this up for my son who has enjoyed otgher Crichton books. I was sitting in the coffee shop I read the first chapter. I might have to read it myself before handing it over to him.
Did an inventory of Mr. Toad's books.
Left on the shelf.
Left on the shelf.
This book was taken for a bookbox. Explanation: The bookshelf (OBCZ) at Mr. Toad's Coffeehouse was starting to look a bit stagnant with the same books still there. During the June Meetup, we overheard that there will be a change in store ownership. We were also visited by Bookcrosser "bookshop" from out of town and his two bags of advance reader copies that he really wanted to release. Solution: Take the books from the bookshelf, replace with bookshop's "fresh" ARCs, and neaten the shelf up for the new owners. The books removed were taken by me to make a bookbox travelling the USA. The next journal entry should be from out of NC as this book has taken flight!
