Another victim of the "loosepageitis" pandemic that is sweeping the World of bookcrossing. The pathetic remains of the departed arrived at the Book Cemetery today (Wednesday 02 November 2005) and were immediately cremated as a matter of public health. A very well attended Memorial Service was held in the Chapel of the Virgins. There was not a dry eye in the congregation as the Choir rendered a magnificent version of "Cold, Cold Heart" and "You'll be the Death of Me Yet" in a sort of Rounders arrangement. The Memory of the dear departed was released unto the ether as a Memorial Plaque was unveiled at the Wall of Rememberance; it reads, simply...

"Forsan et haec olim meminisse luvabit"

The Chief Mourner was to be DameEdna, but, because of the pressure of business, she herself was unable to attend, and sent the delectable Suzanne in her stead. The Management and Staff of the Book Cemetery extend sincere condolences at this sad time.
