No doubt this is a compelling read, as well as being a story of survival it contains an important life message along the lines 'no rabbit is an island'.
Edward's story is captivating, poignant and brings home the fact that life can be extra tough for some rabbits.
As this is a must read I will purchase more copies of this book in an effort to 'spread the word'.

What a sad and beautiful and uplifting little book. It has been on my shelf for quite a few years now (sorry!!) and I just got around to it.

I read this aloud to my children and will admit to crying multiple times. We all enjoyed it a lot, including my partner who sat in on a few chapters as well. What a journey for a rabbit!

I may hang on to it for a while for the kids to read themselves... or get another copy and set this one free
