Thank you for re-starting this vaga-bonde, it arrived safe and sound in Fleckney today. I should have my current read finished by the end of the week and then I will get on with reading this one :)

I really didn't think I was going to enjoy this book. I didn't like the characters initially and found them spoilt and selfish despite the terrible circumstances. Fortunately I persevered and eventually found myself warming to them and moved to tears at some points in the book. The characters had so many layers. There were certainly character flaws I recognised in myself, even though I wouldn't like to admit which ones! This book is well worth reading in my opinion and certainly made me look at myself a little more closely than I usually like to!

A fab read which I would probably never have picked up normally. Thank you for suggesting this ray vaga-bond I will certainly be looking out for more from this author!
