WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Adding to Round Two of the ABC Book Ring, Books Beginning With "J".
Picking this book from the “J” title Bookring
is not filled with a lot of sexual content, violence or strong language. As I completed one chapter, I was eager to begin the next chapter.
"June Bug" is a story about a father and daughter who travels and lives in a beat up RV. They often would stop at a Walmart parking lot to lodge for a few days before moving on. At one particular stop, a Walmart worker befriends June Bug and her dad. At this same Walmart, June Bug discovers a photo that looks a lot like her on a missing child flyer. This is the beginning of truths being unburied. The book seemed to be a little rushed at the end.
You'll be cheering the little girl on and hoping that she'll be able to live a happy life after she learns the truth about her past. The author could write a second book and follow the growth and difficulties of June Bug and her father.
