Jacqueline the Singing Crow

Please return back to me (Crataegus) when done circulating for my permanent collection.
I picked this up at Calgary Comic Con a few weeks ago simply because of the cover. The artwork is amazing and it's about a nothing better than a SINGING CROW!! When I started flipping through it, not only is it an adorable story about a crow (one of those "dreadful" "disgusting" "dumb" birds that "can't even sing"), it doesn't even pause in making light of birders. I had to laugh at quite a few spots in this book, and there's a nice nod to Calgary in here too.
Will be brought to Calgary Bookcrossing to be shared.

Released at the June meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, held at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Caught this at the meeting and read it right away - this is a very well done picture book! Educates about how special Crows are while also talking about self- esteem.
Released this to the next person on the list :)
Grabbed at meeting and read when I got home. What a cute book! I like that Calgary appears to be in one of the pictures, too! The artist also has quite the resume. A nice book about self-esteem.
Thanks for the cute read!
