This is one of the Parragon series of artists. The Renoir one in particular offers not only great detailed information on his life and works but has full colour images throughout.
Nice square size with a paper covering, it looks great when you have the whole series of all the artists!
I recommend this to any fan of Renoir or any art student.

This arrived in the mail this afternoon, and I was able to look through it. What an enjoyable and informative little tome! :-) I plan to pass it along to my Mom this evening, and I'm sure she will be thrilled to have a chance to learn more about one of her favorite artists.

My Mom and I both enjoyed flipping through this book, but my Mom especially appreciated it because I brought it along while I had a 2 hr appointment with an endocrinologist. Since Mom provided my transportation, she had to wait during that whole time (!), so fascinating reading material was appreciated. Mom said what she loved most about reading this book (in addition to the lovely full-color prints of so many of her favorite Renoir works) was learning about Renoir's arthritis. She said it is always interesting to learn about the obstacles famous people overcome to triumph within their fields. Thanks for sharing this with us!
