I'm a big fan of Rita Mae Brown and her cat Sneaky Pie. I've read quite a few of their mysteries. Looking forward to this one.
I think I'm giving up these books - I used to enjoy how the animals just gave you some extra knowledge about the murder, but they have become too chatty and cute. I find it distracting. I still like the characters such as Mary Minor Haristeen and BoomBoom Craycroft.

Don't remember reading this; how could I have missed it?
In Dame Edna's hands now.
In Dame Edna's hands now.
Now I DO remember this, after I had sent it to Dame Edna -- she will enjoy it very much. those cats and a dog are the best (and most interesting) detectives that ever helped solve a mystery. (It was the title that threw me; had to go back over my notes to put the book in perspective.)
Wnjoy enjoy!
