17 Aug 18 - Boy did this book take me long time to read! It was wordy and at times I felt like throwing in the towel, and then just as that feeling was getting to me something interesting would happen. Based mainly in the uk and Italy I was surprised at how much they all travelled. I can't say I particularly liked any of the characters which maybe didn't help when my attentions were struggling. I find these classics a bit hit and miss, it was better than some I've read (sorry not a pride & prejudice fan at all) but I have enjoyed others more, at lease it's another ticked off the list.
