This just fell flat for me. Sandy's character feels one dimensional and doesn't seem to grow at all through the book. Having read Blume's summer sisters I was excited to read this. But it feels like this book is just about the sex, and I can't tell if it's because the whole book is written from Sandy's point of view and her head is so f*cked up or something else. There were some moments in the book that were funny, some that were sad, but I didn't like this as much as I was expecting from previous experiences with Blume's writing.
