Have you ever read the book "Rear Window" or "Strangers on the Train" (or have you seen the movies made from those)? If you enjoyed them, then I must tell you that this book is nothing like either of those, but you might have the right sort of literary taste to enjoy this one as well.

This book is jammed full of suspense and plot twists. I will say the following even though it might be somewhat of a spoiler to you. The reader (in my case, that was me) has no idea of who the innocent nor who the guilty character is. Of course, there is the girl on the train who is a witness at the beginning, but even she gets tangled into this plot. I was not even sure of the police who investigated the crime (if there was one) or crimes in this story. Are they really innocent bystanders? Sorry, but that is my spoiler, but it will be the only spoiler that I will write here. I hope that you enjoy this tale as much as I did. I am totally amazed that this novel is a first time thriller for this author. I do hope that it is not the last.

It took me a little time to get into this book. Once I did, I couldn't put it down. It kept me going with all the twists and new characters. Definitely turned out to be a good read.

I gave the book to a friend with instructions to find a location to leave it.
