If you are into wierd plots this one will keep you busy. There was one part that I did laugh out loud for a good 15 minutes. But for the most part it was a book where you had to keep the characters straight as they wove in and out of time and each others' lives. Not a light book despite the laughter.

I caught the book in my schol office where I teach several months ago andf have just gotten a chance to finish it. I love Lousie Erdrich's writing and found t his book to be another worthwhile rad. Iloved the depth of character development aand the surreal aspect of the heroine's life. I did find the swittcahing from past to present and the number of charcters challenging to follow at times, but appreciated the geneaology chart. Overall, a wonderful read!
