Caught it on my regular boring tube journey, certainly brightened things up!
Gonna read it (though have read chocolat before, great book) Will probably set it free on my way to Germany in March.

Hi the daughter, of a friend of mine who lives in france, was on her way to visit and was looking for Chocolat as a replacement for the copy she had borrowed from her mum and lost. She looked in the airport bookshop but had no luck. On her way to get a coffee she saw the book on a shelf. Thinking it was lost property she took it to the desk. Whereupon she was told that she wasn't the 1st person that day to hand it in and to follow the instructions in the cover. which she did and brought it over to France where her mum, knowing I wanted to read it, passed it on to me to read and then leave for another. Some coincidence that it was the very book she had been trying to buy minutes, no seconds earlier. Spooooky!
