Meinasi unohtua rekisteröidä koko kirja, onneksi oli kontrolloitu vapautus :) Tämän kirjan nappasin Järvenpään kirjaston kierrätyshyllystä ja oli aikomus lukea, mutta on liikaa luettavaa, joten kun havaitsin tämän olevan toivelistalla, niin eteenpäin lähti tämä kirja. Mukavia lukuhetkiä!

Edit. I forgot the book was in English... Found this on a recycling shelf and planned to read but there's too much in my shelf so I decided to fulfill a wish :) Enjoy the read!

At first I disliked the narrator so much that it was hard to continue reading. Then I started to feel sorry for him and wanted to know what has happened/will happen. After finished reading, I think I liked the book a lot, it´s haunting.

Winner of the Man Booker Prize 2005 and also one of 1001 books you must read before you die.

This book made me company on a trip to Brussels. It was a bit demanding, the author has a very rich vocabulary; you have to read slowly to feel the beauty of the words and get into the story of loss and childhood longing.
