rabck from mdm139; Wow. Intense book that I had to read only a few chapters at a time, so I had time to ponder it. It does jump back and forth between characters and time, which I thought added to the story. At the end, the author skips ahead from WWII up to 1974, and interestingly tells it from the German girl's perspective. No matter what in a war, how do the soldiers live with themselves? How do you believe enough in something to go to war for it? And for the people of the losers, how do you travel to a country that your country ravaged? A lot of unanswerable questions. This book will travel forward to my Aunt first, before being rabck'd along.
Back from Aunt Barb and now off to another BC'r!
