I bought this book because a friend has an essay published in it, but it was worth reading the entire thing. A collection of essays, blog posts, and other short non-fiction by a wide variety of NZ writers, some I'd heard of and others that were new to me.

As with any collection, there was the odd piece that didn't appeal, but most were interesting and entertaining.
