This was an incredible book. It was Danielle Steel's first, and I can see why she became such a popular author. This book had every emotion you could think of in it. At times I just wanted to reach through the book and shake the characters. I really don't want to give a plot summary for fear of giving away the suprises that are in this story. This is a "must read" for Danielle Steel fans!
