I read this one about a year ago and liked it just as much if not more than the movie. I had kept it for rereading, but am instead sending it out to entertain others.

Bringing the book to todays BC-meeting.

I picked this up at the BC meeting yesterday :)

Mr P and I saw one of these movies (I guess the first) on tv and enjoyed it. I'm slightly tempted by the dvd pack of all 3 movies as a Christmas present for him, but probably will get something else after all...

I'm taking this on the plane to Chicago tomorrow - will wild release it when I'm done.

I was surprised at how different this was from the movie. Very early on it became clear that the woman character was *completely* different! And although I don't have very clear memories of the film, it began to seem to me that the book's plot was much more complex. I enjoyed this, and ended up deciding not to wild-release it, at least not right away, but to bring it back for Mr Potok-fan to read too. Thank you, arugh & intry.
