Many people play a game where they imagine the lives of people they see in a restaurant or at an airport etc. Rachel imagines the lives of a couple she sees on her daily commute to work. However, when she gets to know them their lives are far from the romantic idyll she has daydreamed.
Rachel is divorced and finds it hard to come to terms with the fact her ex husband is now married with a baby. She still phones him, especially when she has had too much to drink. When these two worlds collide murder is the result - but who is the murderer?
A fast paced story with a very unexpected twist at the end.
