>> It's the garden no one can go into.
It's the garden without a door. How I wish I cold see what it is like!

After the death of her parents, Mary is brought back from India as a forlorn und unwanted child to live in her uncle's great lonely house on the moors. Then one day she discovers the key to a secret garden and, like magic, her life begins to brighten in so many ways.

One of the most loved books for young people ever written.
The Secret Garden weaves its magical spell as much today as it did when it was first published over seventy years ago. (1911) <<

für dieses Buch! ... Es ging bei einem kleinen Treffen in meine Hände über und wird in einer großen Bücherkiste für das Afrikaprojekt in Hilden verschickt. Viel Erfolg dem Projekt & viel Freude den Leser:innen! :: Thanks for this book! It passed into my hands at a small meeting and is sent in a large box of books for the Africa project in Hilden. A lot of success for this project & a lot of joy for the readers.

This book supports ... the book project for a school library in Gambia of the Hildener Vereins „Hilfe für Afrika“ for which dugoenche called in the forum. Have a good trip & have fun with it!
It was released to share the enthusiasm for bookcrossing with the people. Nice that you took it with you and made an entry here, because it is always very nice for Bookcrosser:innen to find out where a book has gone and how the finder likes it. And that's exactly what Bookcrossing is all about: sending books on journeys - especially to places where they're not expected - and sharing reading experiences.
Have a look at the German Bookcrossing forum, the welcome thread for newcomers or the help page. By the way, the monthly meetings are also announced in the forum, where new bookcrossers are always welcome.
A video of the news agency AFP explains quite well what bookcrossing is all about.
