Synopsis:

'The horror on the train, great though it may turn out to be, will not compare with the horror that exists here, in this house.' On Christmas Eve, heavy snowfall brings a train to a halt near the village of Hemmersby. Several passengers take shelter in a deserted country house, where the fire has been lit and the table laid for tea - but no one is at home. Trapped together for Christmas, the passengers are seeking to unravel the secrets of the empty house when a murderer strikes in their midst.

The train arrived in my mailbox today. Thank you so much for sending it to me. I 'll keep it for the holidays.

It's a good story, I have read it on Christmas Day, but to grasp it fully I have to read it again. So I put it in the camper readingbox till next time.

I still like it, even in a heat wave :-).

During the weinachtsmarkt (christmas market)

I found this book today in Boekspot Utrecht (sort of big free library near the Central Station) and decided to take it home with me. I do not know when I plan to read it yet. Lots of books, so little time. But I liked the description and will give it a shot.

I started reading this book a week or so ago, when it was snowing. Sadly I can't seem to get into the story and I am not sure why.
I've decided to let the book travel on before Christmas so a new reader will get the chance to have some Christmas chills. ;-)
