I've read the book in Finnish (Sininen neito) and liked a lot. It's a story of a painting and it's various owners throughout the years. Too bad the time for reading is limited, otherwise I would have read it again.

Thanks for the book Niksu! Looks interesting. I've read "Girl with a pearl earring" and liked it, so it's nice that this book will take me back to Vermeer's art.
EDIT: A little book full of interesting short stories, combined together with the mysterious painting. Once I finished the book, I wanted to start all over again. But I guess I'm letting this continue its journey now. ;)

Thanks for this book. I'm hoping to read it in time to bring it to Canada when I go on holiday.
I wasn't really impressed with this book. I found the different stories quite disjointed and it was hard to really care about any of the characters.
