The Last Unicorn

I'm going to a film festival soon, so I thought it would be fun to release some movie-related books there. I'm told this was made into an animated feature with Mia Farrow as the voice of the unicorn.

I found the book in the student union at Northwestern University, where I was visiting to see a 24-hour B-movie festival (!). It was sitting on a shelf next to some magazines, and I was stunned to discover it because I vaguely remembered the movie based on the book from when I was a kid.
YES: the story is all that you remember it to be, and more. The poetry flies from the pages of this fast read, and the characters all delectably delightful. Yum, yum, yum... I was happy to get it, and happy to give it away for someone else to enjoy.
I took it with me to my current home in Gypsum, Colorado and started reading it there; two weeks later I flew to New York City and finished the book on the subway. I met a bartender in Brooklyn who was reading during his downtime on a slow Sunday, and I realized that he might appreciate a little book crossing, so the next morning I wrapped "The Last Unicorn" up in a plastic bag with the bartender's name on it and dropped it off at the bar.
Thank you for doing this! I truly enjoyed the experience, and I look forward to reading about where else my book has been!
