I collect Newbery Medal winners, and this is a duplicate from my personal collection. The Tale of Despereaux was the winner of the 2004 medal. I really liked this book, and one of my sisters-in-law just loves it. I hope it's enjoyed by its future readers as well!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
On our way home from NYE in NYC, my husband and I stopped at an amazing mall with a carousel in it (I love carousels)! It also had a restaurant we love that is very uncommon in Canada, Panera Bread. Since this is a story of some soup (among other things), we thought Panera would be a good place to leave it.
