This is a story of friendship, love, caring and some relationship complexities. These relationship difficulties were of the characters' own making and the choices they'd made may be totally at odds with the reader's moral stance. The book was an easy read with a good story behind it, although the main premise of the storyline, that of healing, is not something I believe in. I enjoyed her description of the setting and could feel it was somewhere I'd like to visit. Some of the characters were interesting enough to me to keep reading quickly, but I wasn't convinced by the twist at the ending.

Left on a tree stump, on the riverside path, opposite the Youth Hostel. Released when staying overnight with friends, following a fabulous day on Helvellyn and before another fantastic day climbing Scafell Pike.
