There is something wonderfully quirky yet sweet about these stories. At times, the situations are so painfully embarrassing that it is almost torturous to read them, yet the stories have a way of ending on a happy note.

Thanks for sending it on so quickly. I love this book and I haven’t even read it . I work in a library so was delighted that this is a withdrawn copy from Brampton Library in Canada if only it could tell it’s own story of the people who have read it!

I have had this way to long - sorry.
My husband found it on the bookshelf while looking for something light to read while we had no power or water for 5 miserable days due to the severe winter storms we had in north east Scotland. It did the trick, he really enjoyed the gentle humour and it lifted my mood too to hear him chuckling away.
